I usually use bar soap, but this is my first time switching to bar shampoo and conditioner!! Bora Bora from unwrappedlife.com...it smells like the beach and saving species!

these bags are 100% organic cotton and have the tare weight labeled on them!  This makes bulk shopping stress free!

Does anyone have an alternative to plastic dog poop bags? We buy the biodegradable ones, but from what I've read that label doesn't always mean much...the other alternatives I've looked into are pretty unrealistic. My only other thought is to mirror what I do for my cats and bring a paper bag and a reusable scoop, but that could get messy. Has anyone found another solution?

Thank you, Ainslie! I'll have to check that out!

I have the reusable scooper. I don't use bags at all. When my dog is all done I take the poop and use it to fertilize my rose garden. I got mine at big lots. Here is a link to one that looks very similar to mine.

I can't wait to start plastic free July! This is a great reason to complete a waste audit and really understand the importance of reducing our single use plastic!
