By me cutting out planting straws and useing reusable shopping bags, my boyfriend is doing the same. He now has one plastic straw that he rinses and usesin  other drinks. Soon we will be buying metal straws!

Consider bamboo straws. I find with metal straws, they add a metal taste to my tea, but a reusable straw is very important!

Does anyone know what to do with the plastic bags that they have in their house already? I don't know what to do with them All?

You can drop some off at Publix, I believe. Also, if you didnt know but I just recently found out but Publix also carries paper bags as a sub for plastic. So if you forget to bring your reusable bags, dont fret! Paper bags to the rescue! Also, you can compost these paper bags heh ;)

If one of the grocery stores near you has a bag recycling you can recycle grocery bags there along with other thin plastic bags. https://recyclenation.com/2010/04/beyond-grocery-bag-other-plastic-bags-recycle/

A list of very small changes I have made.
    1) pack lunch -save money, use 1 plastic straw that I rise and reuse, use metal fork
    2) a water bottle that has a  carabiner clip - easy to clip on to belt loop

You never know how hard it is to say no to a plastic fork till you to to a forth of July BBQ and you are bringing home your leftover cheesecake and you want to eat it in the car!!! I survived the  urge to use the plastic fork and just ate it with my face!!!! :)
    Happy 4th everyone
